We at the El Yaque Club are sorry to say the Club has been taken by the government of Venezuela.

After three years of working with them (during which time we attempted to get our day in court to regain our property) we are no longer able to recommend staying at the Club because of their unprofessional attitude, the run down condition, and unsafe conditions that now exist. The security of valuables you might have are no longer secure. We as professionals can no longer accept sending our guest there.

They took the Club threw the Owners and her family out on the street. Keep all of their belongings, stole cars, jewelry, projection televisions, plasma TV's, confiscated apartments from friends that we had sold units to, the list goes on.

The general in charge closed off the roof-top viewing area of the beaches, the pool, and the restaurant/bar from all guest that are not friends or family of his. They lock the doors in the afternoon and have no staff in the lobby area to assist you during check-in or if you should have any problems in your unit.
